Sabra Pacheco is a registered parliamentarian who works with organizations seeking clear, fair, and effective decision-making. Through consulting, training, and governing document review, she helps boards, councils, and membership organizations navigate meeting procedure and strengthen their governance practices so they can conduct business in good order.
Sabra has been a Registered Parliamentarian since 2019 and works with organizations seeking practical guidance on meeting procedure and governance. She currently serves as President of the New York Association of Parliamentarians and was a chartering officer of the Parliamentarians of Westchester, NY.
Her consulting work focuses on helping boards, councils, and membership organizations navigate parliamentary procedure and strengthen their governance practices. Sabra advises organizational leaders on meeting procedure, prepares procedural scripts for presiding officers, and conducts training on topics such as nominations and elections, effective meeting governance, and other aspects of parliamentary practice.
In addition to her parliamentary work, Sabra brings extensive experience in education and organizational leadership. She has held senior admissions and enrollment leadership roles in both K–12 and higher education, including at New York University. She serves as Vice President of her shareholder corporation and has co-chaired a presidential task force at Hunter College.
Most of Sabra’s in-person consulting work has been with organizations in and around New York City, though she has also served clients outside the region.
